Organic Content & Social Media Assistant
Part-time or Full-time | On-site | Wacol, Brisbane

Little & Fern is a fast-growing Australian baby and children’s brand with a strong organic social media presence and a highly engaged community of mums.

We’re looking for a full-time Marketing Assistant to support our organic content, social media and community growth.
This role sits at the centre of our marketing team and works closely with the founder day to day.

The role

Your core focus is organic content creation, social media management and community building across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest.
You’ll also support Shopify updates and general marketing tasks as needed.

Ideally, this role will begin as part-time (3-4 days) with the opportunity to grow to full-time.  Or, we may consider full-time immediately for the right candidate.  

Key responsibilities

  • Manage organic social media across all platforms

  • Create, film and edit short-form content

  • Plan and schedule content calendars

  • Identify trends and apply them in an on-brand way

  • Engage with our community through comments and DMs

  • Manage and nurture our Facebook community

  • Assist with Shopify product listings and website updates

  • Support campaigns, launches and collaborations

  • Create simple Canva graphics

  • Complete admin, research and ad-hoc tasks from the founder

  • Assist with shoots, content days and in-person events

About you

  • Confident creating and editing social content

  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest

  • Organised and reliable

  • Comfortable working on-site in a small team

  • Happy to jump in and help where needed

  • Interested in mums, babies or lifestyle content
