Marketing Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team to assist with our marketing and content strategies. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented, and process-driven professional who can develop and implement effective marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to execute and oversee content strategy, email marketing, campaign execution, and graphic design while ensuring brand consistency and audience engagement.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist with developing and executing a strategic marketing plan aligned with business goals.
- Create and manage a content strategy that enhances brand awareness and engagement.
- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns, including content creation, scheduling, and performance tracking.
- Assist with graphic design tasks for digital and print marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage and optimise content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns and events, ensuring seamless execution and high engagement.
- Analyse marketing performance metrics, track key KPIs, and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging marketing strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the team to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Perform other relevant tasks as directed.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within eCommerce or retail.
- Strong experience in content creation planning and execution across multiple platforms.
- Hands-on, can-do attitude with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Innovative thinker who enjoys experimenting and thinking outside the box.
- Obsessive attention to detail with a high standard of quality in all work.
- Highly organised and process-driven, with strong prioritisation and time management skills.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns and events from strategy to execution.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Canva, Klaviyo, CapCut, Meta Business Suite, and other relevant software.
- Social media management experience, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A passion for branding and values, with the ability to convey the brand’s personality and mission through marketing efforts.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, adapting to the needs of a fast-paced environment.
